2026 Blueberry Season Update - July 16th

We will be at the Boyne City Farmers Market at the normal location from 8a-12p

The Gaylord Farmers Market will be at its temporary Alpenfest location near The Happy Goat, just south of Alpine Tavern on South Otsego Avenue. More details and updates will be posted on Facebook as needed.

Pre-orders are strongly encouraged and help us plan how much to pick, pack, and bring to each location.
Sunday 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟵 - UPick OPENS 10a-6p or until we are picked out
We'll have two blueberry varieties ready for picking. While there are plenty of berries to enjoy, a lot more fruit is still ripening, so the season is only going to get better from here!
Before you come:
• $3.00 per pound (cash only)
• Bring your own bucket lined with a plastic bag, or borrow one of ours.
• Check in at the Blueberry Shack when you arrive.
• Children are welcome but must remain with an adult.
• No pets or smoking in the field.

Welcome to Up North Blueberry Farm in Gaylord, Michigan. Since 2011, our family has been growing fresh, highbush blueberries and welcoming families, friends, neighbors, and visitors to enjoy a true northern Michigan summer tradition.
We take pride in keeping our fields clean, cared for, and easy to enjoy. Whether you come to pick your own berries, reserve pre-picked blueberries, or visit us at market, our goal is simple: fresh berries, friendly service, and a little bit of summer to take home with you.

U-Pick Hours During Season (not open for 2026 yet!)
U-Pick hours depend on weather and berry ripening, but our regular picking schedule during season is:
Tuesday: 10 AM – 6 PM
Thursday: 10 AM – 6 PM
Saturday: 1 PM – 6 PM
Sunday: 10 AM – 6 PM
Closed Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for picking, ripening, and markets.
Please check for updates before you drive out. We may close due to weather, field conditions, or to allow more berries to ripen.

Fresh Berries, Picked for You
Pre-ordering is the easiest way to make sure you get the blueberries you want. During peak season, we often sell out, so reserved orders are picked and packed first.

Farm pickup: Contactless front porch pickup at the farm
Gaylord Farmers Market: Wednesday & Saturday pickup
Boyne City Farmers Market: Wednesday & Saturday pickup
Payment is made when you pick up your order.
